OTIS THE CAT

Hey Kitties!

During our sabbatical, The Dude and I were debating whether or not to continue this little online venture. We expected to lose some followers during our absence but still retained several hundred followers. After submitting a couple posts recently about possibly reviving this account, it looks like only a handful of faithfuls are still interested in my plight and adventures.

The Dude has currently got several irons in the fire on other projects. And I’m afraid, without his help, this venture might get shelved. Damn. There was even talk about my own branding, however, looking bleak now.

At this time, I’m sending a plea to all my loyalists. PLEASE reblog this message or any other of my past posts that you liked from my archives section and flood Tumblr with your Otis love. Depending upon the feedback we receive will determine this projects future.

To quote the words of another great ‘O’ : “YES WE CAN!”

Did you miss me? 

“Here Comes Santa Claus”. Holy frosted snowballs! All those friggin’ bell noises! Set me off worse than any catnip overload I’ve ever experienced. I was freakin’ all over the living room. And The Dude just sat in his recliner and laughed at me.

Ho ho ho.

And so is The Dude. It’s been a rough couple of weeks waiting for him to recover from yet another illness. Several weeks of antibiotics and lots of bed rest and he’s up and around. I spent the majority of my time watching him while he slept. Whenever he felt good enough to get in his recliner, that was a green light for me, too. That’s our bonding time.

He must be back to his normal self. It’s been really quiet around this house. I haven’t heard any ranting or raving until this morning. Seems like I must have put on some weight. He made a crack about my belly slowing me down because it’s dragging along the floor.

I think I like him better when he was bedridden.
